The City Secretary serves as the Chief Election Official for the City of Liverpool. City elections shall be conducted in accordance with the Texas Election Code and held annually on the first Saturday in May.

Campaign Finance Reports
Reporting requirements and other regulations are set out in Title 15 of the Texas Election Code (Ch. 251-259) and in the rules adopted by the Texas Ethics Commission. Officeholders as well as candidates are subject to regulation under Title 15. Officeholders as well as Candidates are required by state law to file campaign finance reports (Form C/OH) with the City Secretary's Office. Reporting requirements end when a candidate has filed a final report with the City Secretary.
